正电子发射计算机断(体)层成像
核医学术语。发射型计算机断(体)层显像方式之一。正电子发射计算机断(体)层显像是利用贫中子核素衰变所产生的正电子(β＋)与体内组织中的负电子(β-)发生湮没效应，并通过测定湮没辐射的γ光子而产生组织影像的成像方法。与单光子发射计算机断(体)层相比，PET显像采用了电子准直的计数方式，并且通过测定湮没辐射光子的飞行时间来确定湮没辐射的空间位置。由于采用了这些新技术，改善了图像质量。另外，由于PET显像所采用的核素半衰期很短，故临床上可以加大剂量、重复显像。PET的缺点是正电子核素要用加速器即时产生，价格昂贵，因而限制了其发展。但近年应用了核素发生器生产的正电子核素，因而为PET显像的应用提供了新的途径。PET显像在神经系统和心血管的检查中应用最为广泛。
