性质:回转式压缩机的一种。工作原理及其结构特点如图(a)所示。气体压缩的全过程主要由动、静两涡旋盘作相对运动时所形成的压缩腔来实现。涡旋盘的表面各加工成具有渐开线形状的螺旋形槽道。当动涡旋盘运动时,两盘的接触线将沿涡旋曲线逐渐地向中心移动,从而使形成的月牙形空腔容积发生变化,完成了吸气、压缩、排气的全过程[见图(b)]。这种新型压机的最大特点是:(1)吸、排气过程连续进行,没有往复式压缩机的气流脉动现象,运动平稳,效率较高(较往复式压缩机的效率高10%);(2)结构简单,形体小,重量轻,较往复式压缩机积小40%,重量轻15%;(3)不需吸、排气阀,可大大减少泄漏损失;(4)对含有液滴和杂质的气体具有很高的承爱能力。缺点是涡旋型线加工复杂,工作压力和排气量有限,单级的工作压力为0.4~0.7兆帕,排气量为0.15~2.0立方米/分。目前多用于空调、制冷以及热泵系统。
