The design of flue gas system in wet limestone/gypsum FGD equipment was introduced,with focus on the control of moving vane for booster fan.

Based on the comparison among the flue gas type inert gas system plus replenishing inert gas generator, composite flue gas type inert gas system, multi functional inert gas system and inert gas generator system, the paper analyzes the possibilities of their application onboard the ship under design, and decides finally to adopt the inert gas generator system.

A flue gas purification system by using circulatory suspension type semidry method has been presented, the intermediate test and commercial application of said system being accomplished.
