zhongguo xibei diqu baoyu中国西北地区暴雨(rainstorm in North-west China)发生在中国新疆、青海、宁夏、甘肃和秦岭以北的陕西省等地区的暴雨。约在7月下旬西太平洋副热带高压偏北并西伸西北地区受夏季风控制进入多雨期。西北暴雨有下列气候特征:①暴雨次数少。新疆、青海有3/4以上的站未出现日降水量大于50毫米的暴雨;其余地区平均约十年出现一次暴雨。②中国暴雨量和多年平均降水量之比的极大值多出现在西北地区，一次暴雨量可达多年平均降水量的3一4倍。③暴雨时间集中，暴雨主要集中在8月份一、二次降雨过程。造成西北地区暴雨的天气尺度系统有西北涡和西风槽等。西北涡是西北地区夏季降水的重要天气系统。一般西北涡移出高原后都能造成西北地区东部暴雨，有一部分西北涡还引起大暴雨。西太平洋副热带高压是西北暴雨的重要影响系统，暴雨多发生在副高西伸增强期，1981年中国西北地区多暴雨，就是在副高偏西形势下发生的。副高一方面使西风槽东移速度减慢，趋于停滞;另一方面使槽前西南气流与副高西侧偏南气流汇合成一支强风带，向北输送大量水汽。这是造成暴雨的必要条件。西北暴雨常落在冷锋前暖区内，一旦北方弱冷空气侵入，暖湿空气抬升，中间尺度扰动就容易产生暴雨。(宋肇荣)
