分子式C4H8,分子量56.10,无色气体,燃烧时有火焰。熔点为-80℃,沸点11℃。液化点-15℃。不溶于水,溶于乙醇、丙酮。用作纤维素醚溶剂。环丁烷的制备可由环丁烯在加热并用镍作催化剂氢化制得,也可用环丁烷羧酸脱羧制得,或者用1.4-二溴丁烷与金属锌在醇溶液中进行反应而制得。
