性质:堇青石(2MgO·2Al2O3·5SiO2)为主晶相的陶瓷。耐压强度280~500MPa。抗拉强度25~40MPa。抗弯强度50~60MPa。冲击强度1.8~2.2cm·kg/cm2。线膨胀系数(1.1~1.8)×10-6(20~100℃)。平均热传导率3.35~5.02kJ/(m2·h·℃)(0~100℃)。耐冷热温度300~500℃。绝缘电阻2.3~5.6MΩ·cm(400~600℃)。介质损耗角正切值200×10-4(50Hz);40×10-4(500Hz)。耐火度约1400℃。主要原料为滑石、黏土、氧化铝、长石等。用一般陶瓷工艺制造。烧结范围较窄,烧结温度与堇青石分解温度只差几度,难获得致密体。常采用绿泥石、碳酸镁、碳酸钡、硅酸锆、二氧化锆、三氧化二硼、锂辉石等作为添加剂,能降低烧结温度,扩大烧成温度范围,并改善其介电性能。可用作线圈骨架,耐电弧作用的电绝缘材料、复合材料的基料,电热绝缘装置的燃烧器喷嘴的材料等。
