性质:放射性同位素放出的肉眼不可见的射线。根据射线性质的差别,可分为:(1)α射线。是α粒子(氦原子核)流。α粒子带有2个单位正电荷,质量等于4。在电场中偏向带负电的极板,能量约在4-10兆电子伏特间,能量为10兆电子伏特的α粒子其速度约等于光速的1/10。对物质的穿透力比较小。(2)β射线。是高速运动的电子(称β粒子)流。在电场中偏向阳极。速度几乎与光速相等。对物质的穿透力约比α射线大100倍。(3)γ射线。是波长很短的电磁波(光)。在电场中不发生偏向。穿透力比β射线更强。
