Restoration of degraded coastal wetlands in the Southern Laizhou Bay;

U-series Isochrone method(TSD)dating age of third continental facies at the south coast of Laizhou Bay;

The comparative analysis method of historical data was used to study the coastal erosion along the south coast of the Laizhou Bay during 1958 to 2004.

Transgressions which happened three times at the southern coast of Laizhou Bay are the most important geological events in the depositional history which began from late Pleistocene.

According to the chemical analyses data of the groundwater samples from 129 hydrogeologic drill-holes,and the groundwater mineralization degree data of 1200 wells tested in the field,the hydrochemical environments of the groundwater in the south coast plain of Laizhou Bay,especially the hydrochemical environments of the shallow groundwater in the salt water intrusion area,have been studied.

By field investigation and water chemical monitoring, the groundwater environment of the shallow buried paleochannel zones and alluvial diluvial fans on the south coast plain of Laizhou Bay can be divided into 3 area: the salt groundwater district in the north, the transition district in the middle and the fresh groundwater district in the south.

The fractal research of river channels in the eastern coast of Laizhou Bay based on GIS;

Research of LOICZ and the buffer area in the eastern coast of Laizhou Bay;

The ancient coastline change in scale of 7 ka and the each recent sign,including the river geomorphology sign,the coastal erosion sign,the exchange belt sign between salt water and freshwater and the interaction sign are analyzed based on land-ocean interaction and its late variety in the eastern coast of Laizhou Bay since late Pleistocene Epoch.
