CT影像的伪影之一。在头部横断面层面CT影像中，两侧岩骨锥体之间的横行带状低密度区。又称岩骨间透明带(interpetrous lucency)，亨氏暗区(Hounsfield dark area)，亨氏伪影(Hounsfieldartifact)。是由于X线的线束硬化效应(beam-hardening effect)造成的伪影。该区两侧为突入的岩骨锥体，前方为枕骨斜坡，射线在穿透这些骨结构时较低能量的光子被大量吸收，使透射后的剩余光子的平均能量升高，即线束变硬。由于衰减系数极大地依赖于射线能量，因此当“硬化的”线束在继续穿经脑干等结构时，衰减系数显著下降，在影像上则形成低密度带影。由于这种伪影的存在，使岩骨锥体之间的结构显示不清，成为CT成像的一个限度。在现有CT设备X线管发射全能谱X线的情况下，这一限度是固有的和不可逾越的。只有使用单色X线束，才可从根本上避免这种现象。MR成像不存在这一限度，因此，对显示脑干区以及后颅结构和病变明显优于CT。
