【来源】
为禾本科植物青稞的种仁。
【植物形态】
青稞 一年生草本。须根外面可具砂套。秆直立，丛生，高约60～80厘米，通常具2～3节。叶鞘松弛，基生者常被微毛；叶舌透明膜质，长约3毫米；叶片扁平，质软，长8～18厘米，宽3～9毫米，微粗糙，边缘之基部有时疏生纤毛，圆锥花序开展，金字塔形，长15～20厘米，枝有角棱，刺状，粗糙；小穗含3～6小花，长2～4厘米；小穗轴坚韧，无毛，常弯曲，第一节间长达1厘米；颖草质，几相等，长15～25毫米，具7～11脉；外稃无毛，草质而较柔软，具9～11脉，基盘无毛，先端通常2裂，第一外稃长20～25毫米，无芒或在上部1／4以上具一长1～2厘米之芒，其芒细弱而直立或反曲；内稃甚短于外稃，脊上具纤毛。颖果长约8毫米，与内外稃分离。 我国西北、华北、内蒙古、西藏等地均有栽培。
