性质:学名1,1′-亚乙基-2-2′-联吡啶二溴盐。一水合物为淡黄色固体。熔点320℃(分解)。工业品是暗红棕色水溶液。易溶于水。在酸性或中性溶液中比较稳定,在碱性介质中不稳定。微溶于大多数有机溶剂。由2,2′-联吡啶与二溴乙烷作用而得。是优良的广谱除草剂。用于防治三叶草、甜菜、大豆、高粱、棉花田的杂草,而对土壤、种子及禽畜无害。也可作为马铃薯、豆科作物收获前的促枯剂。此种除草剂入土即失效,因此是理想的免耕法除草剂。施用这种除草剂后,立即可进行播种及其他农事活动。
