A brief overview of the development of chemical engineering science is presented with emphasis on the recent advancement and contribution in the fields of product engineering,time and spatial scale analysis of chemical engineering processing,and the process characterization and analysis with "field" and "flow".

With the speedy development of modern engineering science and technology,the artificial heart has been much improved as a replacement of human heart or a bridge to heart transplantation.

Consequently, engineering science is appearing as the new science.

We have comprehensively alalysed the difficulty of implementing distance education for engineering subject from learner, study resource, study environment and study support services.

By analysing the implement of Learners Guidance Group for the specialty of computer science & technology and the specialty of civil engineering,the on-line teaching platform and self-build teaching platform,we have investigated the student of engineering subject by questionnaire in order to make teaching service system more scientific and the model of Learners Guidance Group more mature.
