见“超导电性”。在临界温度Tc下一个很狭的温度范围内电阻很快消失的零电阻现象，在超导环中的持久电流实验中得到证实（参见“持久电流”）。例如用超导重力仪观察推算得到此时的电阻率ρ＜10-25Ω·cm，用核磁共振方法测超导环中电流产生磁场的任何细微衰减的特征衰减时间下限为105年，实际上还可推算到101010年时间内，而相应的电阻率就完全可用零来代替，称其为零电阻。
