【经济计t预测法1将经济计量方法用作预测的手段。采用此法，首先要作出关于一系列变量和某个经济现象之间关系的假设，然后根据经济理论与制作数学模型的方法，以正确的函数关系去表达所提出的假设。例如可以假定对大学教育的需求量是高中毕业生人数(N)，高中毕业生与大学毕业生之间的工资差别(D)，家长的教育程度(E)等因素的函数，找出下列函数关系式: QE=f(N、D、E)式中QE代表某时期大学教育的需求量。再下一步选择所用的统计数据，以检验模式的有效性，而后计算模式的参数。 以经济计量方法为依据的预测模式具有若干显著优点:实际上是力求解释要预测的经济现象;预测了不仅是经济序列变化的方向，而且包括了变化的大小;有适应性，可根据预测值与实际值的比较来修订模式。管理经济学中用于预测的经济计量模式有单方程的与多方程的。单方程经济计量模式广泛用于企业中对产品需求的预测。复杂的经济问题往往要制订多方程经济计量模式，用电子计算机才能处理。
