性质:用来描述固体中的电子在原子核点阵及其他所有电子的电场中运动情况的物理模型。当以电子满轨道的空轨道表征的一些孤立原子汇集成含有5×1022原子/cm3的该固体的晶格时,就形成了间隔很近的新的分子轨道,即基本连续的能带。满的成键轨道形成价带(VB),空的反键轨道形成导带(CB)。这些能带通常由禁带分开。根据禁带的宽窄,固体可分为半导体和绝缘体,若VB与CB重叠,则为金属导体。
