This paper analyzed and discussed ecological environmental impacts in CBM exploration in the Northwest of Shanxi province and put forward comprehensive prevention countermeasures to lighten these impacts and destruction in accord.

By the use of CBM well logging can define and appraise coal bed methane and its reservoir related parameters such as coal seam depth,thickness,proximate analytical result,methane content,permeability;rock mechanic property,reservoir temperature etc.
根据测井原理,利用煤层气测井中各种参数可以确定和评价煤层气及其储层的相关参数,如储存煤层深度、厚度、工业分析、含气量、渗透率、岩石力学性质、储层温度等。

煤层气勘探开发过程的三个阶段(勘探阶段、试生产阶段、和开采阶段)除了都产生生活污水外,勘探阶段的废水污染源主要是钻探过程中排出含有钻井液的废水,试生产阶段的废水污染源主要是含有含11大类20余种化学物质化学成分较复杂的压裂液,开采阶段的废水污染源特征主要是产生大量高矿化度、高盐度的采出水。
