This paper introduced the basic principle of ethylene recovery from the vent gas of vinyl acetate plant with membrane separation technology, and optimized the process parameters like permeate/residue ratio, the flowrate of inert purge stream, temperature, and ethylene recovery rate.

By using industrially recovered PS (IR-PS) as carrier resin, with appropriate additivesand fillers added , filler conentrates to be used with ABS resins were made.
