Based on the investigation and analysis of dryland farming in west America, this paper gives an introduction of planting systems and farming techniques in this area, snch as land leveling, automatic sprinkling irrigation, soil conservation, dryland machinery and livestock raising, which may be used as a refrence for similar areas.
