【本体聚合】(bulkpolymerization)又称“整体聚合”或“块状聚合”。制造聚合物的方法之一。单体在引发剂或光、热的作用下在其自身中进行聚合的反应。根据聚合物在单体中的溶解情况,有均相聚合(如苯乙烯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯)和非均相聚合(如氯乙烯)两类。特点为聚合时散热较难,易局部过热,产物分子量不均匀,但纯度较高。适用于制造板材和高度透明的有机玻璃。
