性质:又称β-脱皮松,β-蜕皮激素。熔点240~242℃(甲醇+乙酸乙酯)。旋光度[α]D25+60°(c=0.2,甲醇)。在碱溶液中不稳定。天然存在于苋科植物牛膝(Achyranthes bidentata Bl. )等植物中。可化学合成制得。具有降低血糖和胆固醇、抗心律失常、抗病毒、抗炎、抗氧化及免疫促进等作用。据报道本品能刺激小鼠、大鼠乳腺癌的生长。本品还可用于养蚕业,可促进蚕儿成熟整齐、自动上簇。对农业害虫的防治、益虫繁殖也可发挥作用。
