  临床可用冰点渗透压计测定血浆渗透压。由于组成血浆渗透压的主要成分除Na+外,还有葡萄糖和尿素氮,测得的渗透压需作校正。校正公式为:校正血浆渗透压(mmol/L)=血浆渗透压测得值(mmol/L)-〓〓葡萄糖(mg/dl)〓〓18〓〓-〓〓尿素氮(mg/dl)〓〓2.8〓〓校正血浆渗透压正常值为260~275mmol/L。不管血清钠测定值高低如何,校正血浆渗透压正常,表示细胞外液Na+量正常;校正血浆渗透压低于260mmol/L,表示细胞外液Na+呈降低,原因可能为水过多和/或钠丧失。
