      粮食加工机械的一种。用不同规格的筛网使经磨粉机研磨的物料分级并从中提取面粉的机械,有平筛和圆筛两种。最常用的平筛机(见图),筛体用4组藤条、玻璃纤维条或钢丝绳水平悬吊起来,并由电动机驱动带偏重块的传动装置,驱动筛体作平面回转运动。筛体中封装有2、4、6或8幢方筛,每幢有16~24层筛格,可以使用半幢、 1幢或几幢筛格处理一种物料。每层筛格的下面放置橡皮球、帆布块或塑料块,用以清理筛面。圆筛机是由 1种或几种筛网张紧制成的低速旋转的圆筒筛,筒内有1个高速旋转的打板叶轮,将进入筒内的物料强烈地掷向筛筒内壁,强制筛出面粉。适用于筛理粘性较大的物料。筛粉机常用的筛面材料有钢丝筛布和合成纤维与蚕丝混纺的筛绢。前者用于分离较粗的物料;后者用于分离较细的物料。筛布和筛绢按筛孔大小都有不同的规格,供不同情况下选用。
