性质:为季铵碱。其氯化物为无色结晶(由甲醇中),熔,点249~251℃,旋光度-165°(c=0.6,甲醇)。其碘化物为白色块状结晶,熔点258~258.5℃(分解),旋光度-132°(甲醇),-147°(甲醇)。植物来源有芸香科植物黄柏(Phellodendron amucrense Rupr.)的树皮,威氏黄檗[P. wilsonii Hay.et Rane]的茎、皮等。具有降压作用,能抑制小鼠自发活动和代谢,抑制蛙腹直肌的收缩反应,对原发性新月体性肾炎模型有效,对慢性肝炎有一定治疗作用,此外,尚能抑制细胞免疫反应,有望成为一种新的有价值的免疫抑制剂。
