性质:又称制冷能力和制冷能力。表示冷冻机所能产生的冷效应。也就是在一定条件下冷冻机中冷冻剂从被冷冻的物体中取出热量的能力。一般以每小时吸取热量的焦耳数来表示。冷冻机的冷冻能力随着冷冻剂的蒸发温度、冷凝温度及其冷凝后的过冷温度而不同。对于相同的温度条件和一定的冷冻剂,冷冻能力又与所用冷冻机的大小、转速、容积效率和其他因素有关。为了统一标准,便于比较,冷冻工程上规定按照蒸发温度为-10℃、冷凝温度为+25℃、过冷温度为+15℃来计算的,称做正常冷冻能力。按照蒸发温度为-15℃、冷凝温度为+30℃、过冷温度为+25℃来计算的,称做标准冷冻能力。在工业生产上也有用冷冻吨为计算单位的。1冷冻吨等于在24h内能将h 0℃的水冻结成1t冰的能力,即334 400kJ/24h(80 000K cal/24h)或13 920kJ/h(3 330kcal/h)或232kJ/min(55.5kcal/min)。
