Spatial distribution pattern of Cinnamomum burmannii population in karst hills of Guilin;

Spatial pattern of Cinnamomum burmanni seedling populations on Karst hills of Guilin was analyzed by the variance/average ratio method,Greig-Smith s method and lacunarity analysis method.

The niche breadth and overlap of 12 dominant populations in tree layer and 13 dominant populations in shrub layer of Cinnamomum burmannii community on karst hills of Guilin were measured by using the formula described by Levins and Pianka,and the relationship between niche breadth and overlap and the ability of those populations to adapt to karst environment were also analyzed.
