| 桉叶醇 eudesmol 一种萜，分子式C15H26O。广泛存在于许多桉树的油中，桉叶醇为a-桉叶醇和β-桉叶醇的混合物，角锥形晶体；熔点82～83℃，沸点156℃（10毫米汞柱），相对密度0.9884，比旋光度[a]D＋31.3°（氯仿）。a-桉叶醇熔点75℃，沸点156℃（10毫米汞柱），[a]D＋28.6°（氯仿）；其3.5-二硝基苯甲酸酯熔点102～103℃。b-桉叶醇熔点80～82℃，[a]D＋63.8°（氯仿）；其3，5-二硝基苯甲酸酯熔点136～137℃。a-桉叶醇已从已知绝对构型的假虎刺酮合成。桉叶醇可用作定香剂，其乙酸酯在澳大利亚作佛手柑油的代用品。
