Synthesis of sulfonate gemini surfactant (n-C_(14)H_(29))_2(OCHCH_2 OCH_2 CH_2 OCH_2 CHO)(C_3 H_6 SO_3 Na)_2;

In order to improve the ability of oil displacing agent reducing the interfacial tension of oil/water and improve the recovery ratio of oil,sulfonate Gemini surfactant was synthesized,and it was composited with petroleum sulfonate,and then the ability of the composite system for reducing the interfacial tension of oil/water was mensurate by interfacial tensiometer tx-500.

The development and progress of the varieties and synthetic processes of sulfonate surfactants including alkanesulfonate,fatty acid (ester) sulfonate,polyoxypropylenesulfonate,dialkyldiphenylether disulfonate,dimeric sulfonates and arylalkanesulfonate at home and abroad were summarized,and the surface properties of some sulfonates were introduced in this paper.

The synthetic methods and progress of sulfonate surfactants including aliphatic alcohol polyoxyethylene ethers sulfonates,aryl residue or fatty alcohol ethers sulfonates,fatty acid(ester)sulfonates,oligomeric sulfonates were summarized.

Synthesis and properties of dicarboxylate and disulfonate salt-type cleavable surfactants with a 1,3-dioxane ring have been reviewed.

The alkyl benzene sulfonate surfactant with single-component and reasonable structure was prepared by the processes ofalkylation,sulfonation and neutralization ofα-olefin.
