| 念珠藻属 Nostoc 蓝藻门念珠藻科的一属。藻体外观多数为胶质球形，或胶质片状，成熟的藻体有的直径可达数厘米。在坚韧的胶被中包埋着无数条由球形、椭圆形或腰鼓形的细胞连成的念珠状藻丝，在藻丝的细胞列中，有若干个由营养细胞转化而来的、可以固氮的异形胞，所以本属藻类均可固氮。老年藻体的藻丝细胞列中，常由一些营养细胞转化为较大的厚壁细胞，叫厚壁孢子，多生于2个异形胞之间，它可以抵抗不良环境。繁殖方式以藻殖段进行营养繁殖。厚壁孢子可在条件适宜时萌发并分裂产生新的藻体。该属50种，中国发现42种，淡水产。陆生种生长在潮湿土表、岩石上，或混杂于藓类植物的茎叶间，有的可在表土下生活；水生种一般贴附在水底石块上，或水生植物上生长；浮游生活种较少；山间溪流石块上亦有。念珠藻本属中的发菜、地木耳、葛仙米，可食用，为中国传统食品。 |
