| 李调元（1734～1802） 中国清代戏曲理论家，诗人。字美堂，号雨村，别署童山蠢翁。四川德阳人。乾隆二十八年（1763）进士，由吏部文选司主事迁考功司员外郎。后遭诬陷，遣戍伊犁，至1785年方得以母老赎归，晚年潜心著述。著有《童山诗集》40卷，戏曲理论著作《曲话》、《剧话》等。《曲话》和《剧话》多摘引前人的戏曲评论，并发表自己的看法。李调元主张宗法元人朴素自然的风格，反对曲词宾白的骈丽堆砌的时尚，间有对剧作本事的考证，为戏曲史研究提供了资料。难能可贵的是他记载了当时勃兴的吹腔、秦腔、二簧腔、女儿腔的流布情况，对弋阳腔、高腔的发展脉络，进行了细致的探索，为后世戏曲史特别是剧种声腔史的研究提供了方便。 |
