性质:简单撞击坑视坑底下伏一层较厚由回落角砾岩块、熔岩组成的透镜状沉积层,如Meteor、Brent、Lonar Lake、West Hawk Lake等简单撞击坑。通常上伏晚期湖相沉积物,下伏冲击压力15~20GPa的原生坑底单矿物碎屑角砾岩。整个撞击坑显示出地球物理场异常。这一沉积构造特征,可通过地球物理方法寻找被掩藏的撞击坑。
