性质:(一)由若干种不同分子量的物质组成的混合物,其分子量的平均值称为平均分子量。若混合物帷发子量为M1的物质n1mol和分子量为M2的物质n2mol组成,则:或即平均分子量,x1和x2 分别为组分1和组分2的摩尔分率。(二)一般来说,每一种聚合物都是由分子量不等的同系聚合物组成,因此通常所指聚合物的分子量均具有统计平均的意义,即指聚合物的平均分子量。由于统计平均方法不同,所得平均分子量也不一样。表示聚合物平均分子量的方法有四种:数均分子量、重均分子量、黏均分子量和Z均分子量(见各该条)。其中前三种最常用。测定平均分子量的方法很多,如冰点降低法、沸点升高法、渗透压法、端基滴定法、光散射法、超离心法和黏度法等。
