In order to study the proppant transport in hydraulic fracturing, a two-dimensional transport equation for proppant and a two-dimensional flow equation for slurry are presented, including the effects of settling velocity of proppant.

On the basis of research on proppant settling equation in stationary fluids,a proppant settling equation was derived by comprehensive analysis the motion mechanism of the particle stress conditions in solid-liquid flow and non-equilibrium condition,also a mathematical model of proppant transport was based on it.
