莫云,笔名卞水流、万木春、坤子。1953年9月26日生,江苏泗洪城头乡人。淮阴师专中文专业毕业,中共党员。做过牧童、纤夫、挖河民工,当过农民、教师、县志副主编,现供职于江苏省宿迁市社科联。迄今发表各类文学作品150余万字;获省市级奖20余次,其中,诗作《生命的绝唱》获全国政协科教文卫体委、中国新闻社、全国政协《纵横》杂志社联合举办的“中华纵横”全国诗书画摄影征文评选一等奖,旧体诗《巴蜀游》10首获“明玉杯”第二届海内外华文诗词大奖赛三等奖;作品选入《中国当代诗典》、《中国当代散文大观》、《1992年中国青年诗人诗历》、《中国当代朦胧诗纯情诗多解辞典》等多种选本。为江苏省作家协会会员,地级宿迁市民间文艺协会副主席兼秘书长。著有诗集《忘忧草》,散文集《乡路弯弯》、《天涯芳草》。
