性质:气体在高于其临界温度条件下,不论对其施加多高的压力,均只能呈气体状态存在。此种气体即称为“超临界气体”。应用超临界气体作为萃取剂对其他物质进行萃取,再以恒压升温或恒温降压的方法将溶剂与所得萃取物分开的操作为超临界气体萃取。在煤的液化工艺中,曾采用的萃取剂为甲苯。当萃取的操作温度高于甲苯临界温度15℃时,比低于甲苯临界温度15℃时对煤进行萃取所获得的萃取收率高两倍多。
