活检
biopsy
活组织检查的简称。指从病人身体上取下少量活组织，经特殊处理后做病理学诊断的一种检查方法。对肿瘤的诊断有特别重要的意义，不仅可以确定其组织分类，还可确定其性质为良性或恶性，为治疗肿瘤提供可靠的依据。活检的方式很多，如采取手术切除、穿刺吸取或将病人器官腔内的液体和分泌物作涂片观察(称脱落细胞检查）等。在肿瘤普查时，常用以发现早期癌肿，如用阴道分泌物涂片可以发现早期子宫颈癌。
