t lanran yaovVU ZlyU0n天然药物资源(natural medicinal material resources)自然界一切可供药用的植物(含菌物)、动物和矿物的总体。凡巍 罗汉果(《中药彩色图集》)具有医疗、诊断、预防疾病和保健作用的物质统称为药物。来源于天然的(植物、动物和矿物等)称为天然药物，如人参、鹿茸、石膏等;来源于化学合成的称合成药物，如阿斯匹林、氟呱酸等。 天然药物就其自然属性可分为植物药、动物药和矿物药3大类。前二者合称为生物药资源，属于可更新资源，后者为非生物药资源，属于不可更新资源。生物药资源包括野生动、植物，一也包括人工培育的动物和植物，以及利用生物技术繁殖的生物个体和产生的药用活性物质。据统计，中国现有药用植物n以x)余种，药用动物1 850余种，药用矿物140余种。随着人类社会的发展和科学进步，药用的种类将会不断增多，资源开发利用的深度和广度也将会日益加大。近代有将菌类从植物分出另列菌物类的，这样天然药物也就出现了“菌物药”，形成四大类。 药用动、植物有的是整个个体人药，如全蝎，蒲公英(参见粉 药材牛黄(《中药彩色图集》)彩图插页第71页)、细辛等，有的是个体的一部分人药，如鹿茸、熊胆、人参(根)、麻黄(茎)、批把叶、金银花、罗汉果、藏红花(柱头)等;有的是以分泌物或渗出物人药，如康香、牛黄(胆结石)、乳香等;也有的是动植物体某一部分经过加工制得的，如阿胶(驴皮熬制)、儿茶、青黛等。矿物药有天然矿石如石膏、朱砂，也有加工品如铅丹、明矾等。药用动、植物供药用的部分，经过采收和一定的加工过程即为“药材”或“中药材”或生药。 (周荣汉)
