Mitral annulus in patients with myocardial infarction evaluated by real-time three-dimensional echocardiography;

Objective To probe the value of mitral annulus peak systolic flow velocity and systolic displacement in evaluating left ventricular systolic function of dilated cardiomyopathy patients.

Methods Mitral annulus velocities from posteroseptal,lateral,anteroseptal,posterior,anterior and inferior segments during early diastole (Ve),atrial contraction (Va) were measured by quantative tissue velocity imaging in 14 patients with dilated cardiomyopathy and in 14 age matched healthy subjects,and then Ve/Va was calculated.

Objective To evaluate the correlation between the ratio of mitral peak velocity of early filling(E) to early diastolicmitral annular velocity(Ea) and severity in patients with congestive heary failure.

Objective To understand the feasibility and valuation of reginal mitral annular motion indices by pulsed-wave Doppler tissue imaging(DTIPW)for detecting myocardial viability in patients with old myocardium infarction(OMI),to compare the sensitivity of DTI-PW and 2-DE for detecting myocardial viability.

Methods Mitral annular motion in 35 cases of normal subjects form apicial four chamber view and two chamber view were detected with DTI M mode.
