性质:这一技术是1990年由威兰斯(Willams)和韦尔什(Welsh)两个研究小组几乎同时建立和发展起来的一种新型遗传标记技术。具有检出DNA多态性的方式,同时还具有快速、简捷、高效等优点。它能从大量杂交后代中鉴别出真杂交种,和从原生质体融合后的真融合子。它提供了比同功酶更为准确的杂种及融合子鉴定方法,从而获得了确切的杂交和原生质融合的分子生物学证据。另外还可利用RAPD技术进行基因组指纹图谱构建、遗传连锁图构建、和品种及亲缘关系的鉴别等。
