【来源】
为大戟科植物石栗的叶。植物形态详"石栗子"条。
【采集】
全年可采，晒干。
【药材】
干燥叶多皱缩，纸质，卵形至长卵形，长10～20厘米，宽8～15厘米，先端渐尖，基部截形或心形，两面秃净，上面绿色，下面淡绿色；叶脉明显，主脉1，侧脉羽状。具叶柄，被星状毛，顶端有2个突起的暗红色小腺体。以净叶无枝梗者为佳。 产广东、广西等地。
【性味】
《广东中药》Ⅱ："微苦，寒。"(有毒)
【功用主治】
①《岭南采药录》："治闭经，取生石栗叶四两，和猪腰煎汤服之。亦能下胎。" ②《广东中药》Ⅱ："通经，清瘀热，治白浊。"
【宜忌】
《广东中药》Ⅱ："孕妇忌用。"
