放射增敏剂（radiosensitizer）
是指单独使用不杀伤细胞，只有与射线共同使用时才提高射线杀伤作用的药物。放射增敏剂的能力用增敏比SER（sensitivityenhancementratio）表示，为
SER=不用增敏剂时达到某一效应的放射剂量/使用增敏剂时达到同样效应的放射剂量
在作增敏剂的横向比较时，还用到另一个量—c1.6，是指增敏比为1.6时的增敏剂浓度。可列入增敏剂的有：BSO（D，L-丁硫氨酸-S，R-亚砜基亚胺）和DEM（顺丁烯二乙脂）、PNAP（双硝基苯乙酮）等。
