性质: 它与L-酪氨酸是光学异构体,系非蛋白质氨基酸。熔点≥300℃,310~314℃分解。旋光度+12.3º±0.5º;+11.0º±0.5º;+10.3º(c=4,在1mol/L HCl中)。在水中溶解度(g/100g):0.196(0℃);0.1052(50℃);不溶于一般中性有机溶剂如无水乙醇、乙醚、丙酮等。用作生化试剂,也可作为研究蛋白质结构和动力学的探针。
