性质:又称肝细胞生长因子样蛋白。从血清中分离出来能刺激巨噬细胞对趋化因子发生反应的蛋白质称为巨噬细胞刺激蛋白。它在人血清中的浓度约为70~260ng/ml。半衰期1.0h。无酶类催化活性。MSP由肝脏分泌,在血循环中以单链形式存在。当蛋白水解酶将它在“精-缬”两氨基酸间肽键切开;形成由二硫键连接的α、β两条肽链后,MSP才有生物活性。其生物学活性主要有:(1)促巨噬细胞趋化作用;(2)刺激巨噬细胞吞噬EIgM C3b;(3)抑制巨噬细胞中NO合酶mRNA(信使核糖核酸)的表达等。现已证实RON基因产物是MSP的受体。在小鼠中,MSP的基因在9号染色体上;人的MSP基因在3号染色体上。
