性质:以十六元内酯环为配基,与氨基糖或中性糖通过苷键相连组成的一类抗生素。一般由链霉菌与小单孢菌产生,分为6个亚类。(1)连有1个氨基糖的:有蔷薇霉素、卷霉素、幼霉素、德塔霉素A1~A3等。(2)连有1个氨基糖,在氨基糖上又连1个中性糖的:有柱晶白霉素A1~A9,U,V、交沙霉素、麦迪霉素A1~A4、碳霉素A,B、麦里多霉素I~VII等。(3)连有氨基糖与中性糖各1个的:有安哥拉霉素、麦那霉素I~V等。(4)连有氨基糖与中性糖各1个,在氨基糖上又连1个中性糖的;有泰乐霉素A~D、大霉素。(5)连有2个氨基糖的:有螺旋霉素I~III。(6)连有2个中性糖的:有中性霉素、查耳霉素等。临床应用的天然十六元环大环内酯有:柱晶白霉素、交沙霉素、麦迪霉素与螺旋霉素;半合成产品有:乙酰螺旋霉素、美欧卡霉素、罗它霉素等,较天然品的药物动力学性能有所改善。这些抗生素抗菌谱与红霉素等十四元大环内酯相同,抗菌活性稍低,并有交叉耐药性,但对细菌无诱导耐药性。临床适应症与红霉素相同,泰乐霉素作为动物药,用于家畜各种细菌感染。
