在月经周期的第8～10天，相当于卵泡发育中期，在卵泡分泌的雌激素作用下，修复的子宫内膜继续增厚，腺体及间质均明显增生，腺体数量增多，其长度逐渐超过内膜的厚度而变弯曲。腺上皮细胞呈柱状，表现活跃的增生活动，且有核分裂象。间质细胞仍呈梭形，组织中有水肿，含有增生的螺旋小动脉。
