种子消毒播种前应抓住晴好天气，将种子摊晒1天，以提高种子活力。1、强氯精浸种：先用清水预浸8至12小时，再用300至500倍强氯精或50%多菌灵800倍液浸种8至10小时，捞起必须洗净后催芽。2、25%咪酰胺2000至3000倍液浸种12至24小时，直接催芽。3、浸种灵1 包(1毫升)，对水5公斤，搅拌均匀后浸稻种3公斤，浸后直接催芽(杂交稻特别是两系杂交稻应间隙浸种，浸种时间不能太长)。
花生
种子消毒用花生种子量的0.5%的50%多菌灵拌种，或2.5%适乐时拌种，可预防花生茎腐病、根腐病等病害。
西瓜
种子消毒将种子放入55℃的温水中浸种，不断搅拌，温度降至室温后，再浸2至3小时；或种子量的0.1至0.2%的绿亨一号干拌种。或用50%多菌灵500倍液、或甲醛200倍液浸种30分钟，洗净后播种，可防止土传病害。
