由苏联李森科提出的一种植物发育理论。认为植物的个体发育是按照质上不同的阶段循序进行的，每个阶段对外界条件有不同的要求。植物先通过春化阶段，以低温为主导因素；然后通过光照阶段，以日照长度为主导因素。只有在满足了这些外界环境的要求时，植物生长点的分生细胞内才能完成质的变化，发生花原基分化。阶段发育有不可逆性，即已通过春化作用的植物即使再给以高温，也不能消除低温的影响。这一学说揭示了一年生及二年生植物发育的某些规律，对分析植物开花的环境要求有一定意义。但它并不普遍适用于所有的植物。也不能概括发育各阶段之间的复杂关系。如有些植物并没有春化阶段，对有些植物可用长日照代替低温。
