急性链球菌性扁桃体炎
链球菌感染后引起的伴有全身症状的以扁桃体为主的咽部急性炎症。急性卡他型者，病情较轻，病程亦短。而急性滤泡型与急性陷窝型者，其局部症状与全身反应均较严重。临床发病急骤，有畏寒高热、头痛、便秘、以及全身酸痛等；局部症状以咽痛为主，吞咽或咳嗽时加重，严重时可发生化脓性炎症。治疗以选用有效的抗生素，如青霉素等，并需应用较长时间 (一般10～14天），以防治转为慢性或引起风湿热及肾小球肾炎。
