Five years of experience in teaching high polymer seminars have convinced the author that good results can be achieved by choosing comprehensive,popular and fascinating topics,by providing customized materials to different students,and by creating a lively environment for classroom interactions.

It also offers some recommendations for further developing seminar courses in undergraduate teaching.
