性质:又称α-松节烯,α-藦烯双环单萜类化合物。有一对对映体,均为油状。右旋体熔点-50℃,沸点155~156℃,旋光度[α]D+51.1°,相对密度0.8590,折射率1.4662。消旋体沸点156.2℃,相对密度0.8585,折射率1.4658。溶于醇、氯仿、醚、冰醋酸,几乎不溶于水。来源于松科植物松油脂(turpentine),杜鹃科植物头花杜鹃(Rhododendron capitatum Maxim.)。具有明显的镇咳驱痰作用,并具有抗真菌作用。α-蒎烯是松节油的主要成分之一,可做香料成分,也是合成香味化合物的重要中间体,还用于制造樟脑、龙脑和松油醇等。
