研究目的:描述我国孕产妇和儿童健康状况以及孕产期保健和儿童保健情况,对比分析世界各国孕产妇健康状况及千年发展目标的实现程度,分析影响孕产妇和儿童死亡和生存的相关因素,探讨我国妇幼健康的公平性,借鉴国际上先进的研究方法和干预措施,提出适合于中国的孕产妇和儿童保健策略和干预措施及政策建议,以促进我国“千年发展目标”妇幼健康指标的按期实现。

补充资料：千年古塔
位于泾县城西郊水西宝胜寺前，北宋崇宁间建造。大观二年（1108）建成，亦程圣寿“崇宁塔”。大观塔属楼阁式砖塔，共七层八面，底层直径为11米。每面有砖圈拱门，每层檐下有砖砌斗拱，错落有致，图案工整、典雅，塔墙外石碑刻36方，1981年9月被省人民政府公布为省重点文物保护单位。
